SOME OF THE PROMINENT VISITORS & MEMORABLE EVENTS AT OUR SCHOOL :

1962 - Mr.K.Kamaraj , the then Chief Minister of TamilNadu laid the foundation stone for Middle School Buildings.

1964 - Mr.M.Bakthavatchalam , the then Chief Minister of TamilNadu inaugurated the new school buildings for middle school.

1969 - Mr.K.Kamaraj , M.P had inaugurated the New Visalatchi Block Ground Floor buildings in our school.

1977 - Mr.S.ArangaNayagam , Education Minister inaugurated Chidambara Gnanagiri Block ground floor buildings.

1982 - First Floor Buildings of Chidambara Gnanagiri Block was inaugurated.

2001 - New Shembagam Gnanagiri Block building was inaugurated.

2003 - First Floor buildings in Visalatchi Block was inaugurated.

2006 - Rajammal Chidambara Block buildings – ground floor & first floor was inaugurated.

2010 - Golden Jubilee Celebrations & Golden Jubilee Block building foundation stone laid.

2013 - Golden Jubilee Block building was inaugurated.

2017 - Our School Student Delcy achieved “State First” ranking in the Government Exams conducted for Class X.

At this moment we are having a total of 86 teachers in the elementary & High secondary school put together. We regularly conduct School Day, Sports Day, Students scientific exhibition, and interschool exhibitions in our school. We are having Valluvar Literature Association, Red Cross Association, Red Ribbon Club, Consumer Council, National Green Squad, National Service Scheme, Scouts Club, all functioning well. Our school is aided by Tamilnadu Government. We are having a total of 50 class rooms, Computer lab, Physics, Chemistry, Biology Laboratories & Library. All our class rooms are equipped for computer aided teaching. We have separate classes for learning BharathaNatyam, Karate, Singing, Yoga. Although our teachers are trained & equipped with skills to impart knowledge to students, with the current advancement in Teaching methods, they require further training in the latest teaching methods adopted worldwide. To augment the teacher skills, we had conducted two training classes in our school by NIIT, Madras under the guidance of Microsoft Last Year. As such, we have plans to build another 20 class rooms, equip the laboratories with modern equipments, update library & improve the Restroom facilities. All the above require huge funding and being an aided school by government it is very difficult to mobilize resources for the betterment of our school & its activities. As we are dedicating our school for the improvement of education of Girl Children, an aid at this juncture would be of immense help to realize our plans as above.
